Twice Dark Conjures Up a 'Necromantic' Dance Floor Anthem

Emerging from the shadows with their fourth single from the upcoming album 'Telekinetic', Twice Dark presents 'Necromantic', a goth/electro-industrial offering that explores themes of lament, loss, and unfinished business. This grief-soaked dance floor anthem takes listeners on a sonic journey to the underworld, where a spectral encounter unfolds in a graveyard at the stroke of midnight. Featuring guest vocals from Scott Harris of Hororhaus, 'Necromantic' pulsates with a dark energy that's both captivating and cathartic. Recorded at Postal Recording in Indianapolis, the track showcases Twice Dark's signature blend of genres, promising a hauntingly beautiful and emotionally charged experience.

This latest release follows the explosive lead single 'Telekinetic', a powerful track about conquering inner demons and bending reality to one's will. As Twice Dark explains, "Most of the songs on 'Telekinetic' use extra sensory abilities as a way to change one’s life for good or bad. 'Telekinetic' the song is about standing up to one’s fears and realizing one’s dreams." This exploration of the paranormal and the power of the human mind is a recurring theme throughout the album, with songs touching on pyrokinesis, invisibility, telepathy, and time travel.

Drawing inspiration from a vast well of influences, Twice Dark's music is a captivating fusion of goth rock, post-punk, darkwave, synthpop, and industrial. Citing bands like Cetu Javu, Cause & Effect, and Drab Majesty as key inspirations, Twice Dark carves out a unique space within the darker realms of the musical landscape. "I want people to enjoy the melody and sombre mood of my music," they share, "but I also want them to feel uplifted, empowered and inspired to make changes in their own lives."

Beyond the music itself, Twice Dark's creative vision extends to their captivating live performances. Known for their dynamic stage presence and powerful vocals, they aim to create an immersive experience for their audience. With plans to incorporate a live guitarist and synchronised DMX lighting in the future, Twice Dark's shows promise to be an audio-visual feast for the senses.

'Telekinetic' is set to drop in early 2025, and fans can look forward to three more singles before the album's release, 'Invisible Man', a future pop song about the futility of leaving your mark on the world; 'Time Traveller', an industrial rock song about repeating cycles; and of course, 'Necromantic'. Keep an eye out for accompanying remixes by artists like Knormalled, Drekka, Robert Inhuman, Markus Midnight, and Post Analog Disorder.

Twice Dark is poised to take the dark music scene by storm. With their unique blend of genres, introspective lyrics, and captivating performances, they invite you to step into the shadows and embrace the 'Necromantic' magic. Turn it up, dance, cry, and enjoy.
