An artist with a penchant for creating gorgeous soundscapes and profound melodic pieces, Tyler Edwards has become renowned for his independence and determination, crafting a musical world that shines with truth and authenticity. After impressing fans and critics alike with his crowd-funded debut album, ‘A Few Good Hearts’, Tyler is back and sounding more expressive than ever, channelling new depth and influences in his upcoming sophomore album ‘A Falling Sky’.
Beginning his career in 2008, Tyler wrote and performed with the South Carolina rock band, I Anthem. After releasing two EP;s and a record, Tyler cultivated a strong grass-roots style, laying the foundation for his solo career. On May 1st, 2020, during the Covid-19 pandemic, Tyler released a self-produced and recorded EP, ‘Sincerely, Montgomery’, which helped to solidify his position as a bona fide independent artist and songwriter.
For his new record, Tyler has perfectly balanced his emotional style with the subtle instrumentals, creating a strong thematic and rhythmic flow that hits hard as each song progresses. Set for release on the 30th of September this year, the album is set to be unique and innovative in every way, offering an evolved sound that is backed by tracks like ‘Highway Dust’, ‘Only After’, ‘Delta’, and ‘Sugar Hill’.
Ahead of the new album, Tyler is teasing the release of the lead single "Highway Dust’, which is scheduled for release on July 8th, 2022. While we have to wait a little longer to hear the album in full, you can pre-save it now.
