Speaking about the new single, Unique explained, “The inspiration for the song was to create an anthemic song people could have a good time to. I am bull headed and tenacious and don’t give a hoot what people tell me to do. When people told me to pick one genre; I picked three. So ‘Fuego’ is country, rock, and pop. I didn’t stop there; I’m Latina and wanted to add a little spice to the song as a nod to my culture so you’ll hear that sprinkled in there.”
“This song has so far ended up on Spotify playlists with the likes of Luke Bryan, Brothers Osborne, Queen, Beyoncé, Lizzo, and Camilla Cabello. This speaks volumes seeing as how the first thing I said when I created the song was, ‘I want an anthem. Who has the best anthem? … QUEEN!’ So, I started with the stomp, stomp, clap. That is how I first started to write the song.”
Available now, ‘Fuego’ is a fiery new release that is guaranteed to impress and entertain. Along with passion held in her new track, Unique has also shared that spirit with her philanthropic endeavours, with 10% of all proceeds from the single going to non-profit organization, Mutt Nation.
