Wincanton’s Blood Red Rose tease their new album with ‘Shadow Voices’

The dark indie project of lead vocalist and guitarist Paul, bassist Kim, and drummer and percussionist Luke, Blood Red Rose have become a brilliant fixture of the UK’s independent scene. A band who have released six albums and countless singles over the last few years, they’ve carved out a unique and wonderfully raw path that never fails to impress.

After taking some time out before the release of their sixth album ‘Sixth Dimension‘, Blood Red Rose marked their return with a string of massive releases, breaking new ground and proving they still have more to give. Their latest in this impressive campaign comes in the form of ‘Shadow Voices’, an inescapable new single that sees shoegaze elements collide with progressive punk overlays.

A captivating release that showcases the band’s ability to create invigorating sonic soundscapes, ‘Shadow Voices’ reaffirms their position as architects of enduring musical experiences. Pitches itself against echoing refrains from frontman Paul, spiraling synths, and searing guitar riffs, and recorded with little polish to maintain that authentic live experience, the new single is an immersive and captivating experience perfectly wrapped in nostalgic indie tones.

The first glimpse of the band’s upcoming seventh album ‘The High Point Of Low’, which is set to be completed over the next few months, ‘Shadow Voices’ finds Blood Red Rose continuing to excel, building on their newfound creative energy and expansive reach to tread new, triumphant ground.
