Aziya Kicks Off 2025 With Love-Struck Anthem 'i'm in love, believe it'

Fresh off a triumphant tour Down Under supporting Lola Young, UK rising star Aziya is back with a brand new single, 'i'm in love, believe it'. This stripped-back track puts Aziya's incredible vocals front and centre, letting her heartfelt message shine through. The song's chorus is a simple, powerful declaration of love, leaving no doubt about the young rocker's feelings.

'i'm in love, believe it' follows Aziya's acclaimed mixtape, BAMBI, released last November. While 'BAMBI' explored themes of self-discovery and finding freedom, this new single signals a shift towards hope and newfound love. Aziya herself admits, "Who would have thought it - love finally found me. I'm in love, I'm terrified and I wrote a song about it.”

It's been a whirlwind year for Aziya, who has graced the stages of major festivals like Bludfest, Pitchfork, Dot to Dot, Lost Village, All Points East, and Reading & Leeds. She's also shared the stage with some serious talent, supporting thxsomch and Griff in the UK.

Aziya's 'BAMBI' mixtape was a deep dive into the complexities of finding strength amidst vulnerability. The 10-track project, featuring six full-length songs interwoven with four spoken-word interludes, explores Aziya's journey of self-acceptance and breaking free from societal expectations. One interlude, "santi said," even features words of wisdom from her mentor, Santigold.

The mixtape's title track, 'bambi', came with a striking music video directed by DEAD HORSES, James Topley, and Ivo Beckett. The visually arresting video uses imagery of storms and religious iconography to depict Aziya as a fearless warrior, battling against the forces that hold her back.

Since bursting onto the scene in 2021 with her fiery debut single 'Slip!', Aziya has consistently proven herself to be a force to be reckoned with. From her early days shredding guitar covers of PJ Harvey and Jimi Hendrix on TikTok (earning millions of views and praise from Grimes and H.E.R.), she has honed her musical talents and carved her own unique path in the industry. With 'i'm in love, believe it', Aziya begins 2025 on a high note, ready to conquer the world with her raw talent and authentic voice.
