From Atlanta Streets to Global Beats, Rappa Renze Interviewed

La'Duke, better known as Rappa Renze, is already causing a stir in the music industry at the age of 26. La'Duke comes from Northside Calumet, Atlanta, and his biography is just as interesting as his music. His story is a monument to his skill, determination, and passion, as he went from inheriting his grandfather's label, Baphomet Records, at the age of 12 to making beats for local musicians like MDG Rico at the age of 14.

His recent performance in New York City thrust him into the public eye, landing him a contract with CSP Music Entertainment and paving the way for his most recent hit, ‘Face’. In this exclusive interview, La'Duke explores the emotional depth of his music and his distinctive blend of melodic flows, and opens up about his influences, new track, and future goals.

It's great to speak with you today. When did you first start making music? Where did it all begin, and what inspired you?

“I was probably 14 years old when I actually started, in a town called Newnan, but out of the metro Atlanta area. But what inspired me is more from a perspective of seeing the lives of everyone else, and thinking, what can I do to change it?”

You have a new single out - can you tell us a bit about it and what it means to you?

“My latest release is called ‘Face’. It's more about what it means to my fans going through hard situations and depression unheard of.”

Were there any artists, moments, or experiences that influenced you when writing the release?

“The troubles of my fans.”

What was your songwriting process for the release? How did it all come together?

“It's a collective in a sense, but what I can tell you is that ‘Face’ blends emotions with actions.”

How would you describe the sound on the single? Has there been a change or evolution in style since you first began?

“Yeah, I think I've evolved in a way that I didn't think would happen, but as my fans grow and I do as well, maybe even more to grow within myself.”

Is there a central message you were trying to convey in your latest release?

“Emo is what I'm created to be and emotions run through everyone.”

Looking ahead, what are your aspirations as an artist? Where do you see yourself in the next few years, both musically and personally?

“Good question.”

Do you have any new releases or shows on the horizon?

“Yeah, my next album, ‘HostileWorld’, is really gonna capture who I am.”

What sort of reception have you had to your latest release?

“Yeah, the fans love it. I believe so.”

Is there anything you would like to say to our audience?

“The exposure and the support of expanding my sound to your audience and my audience.”

Rappa Renze's journey is only just beginning, and his dedication to his craft, combined with his unique perspective, promises to deliver music that resonates with audiences worldwide. His commitment to his fans and his drive to expand his sound are clear, and we're excited to see what the future holds for this talented artist.
