Potts Entertainment is excited to announce that BOWEN * YOUNG, the Nashville based duo comprising Australian singer-songwriter and actor Clare Bowen and American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumental Brandon Robert Young, will head down under in January for a run of intimate acoustic shows.

After a busy year that has seen them release the first music from their forthcoming debut album, Us, and tour extensively throughout the US and UK (including a Hyde Park date as special guest of music icon Billy Joel), BOWEN * YOUNG will kick off their Australian tour on January 12th in Geelong, before taking to Melbourne, Castlemaine, Sydney, Newcastle, Tamworth, Clare’s home town of Wollongong and wrapping up in Brisbane. Tickets for all shows go on sale this Friday, 24th November. Secure your tickets here.

“I’m so excited to be coming back home for the first time in four years, to reconnect with all my fans in Australia and share this new music with them,” says Clare. “I can’t wait for this tour, to see all my friends and family and make some amazing memories with you on these shows”.

Brandon adds, “Touring Australia with Clare has been some of my favorite moments playing music. Since we first wrote these new songs together, we’ve been counting the days til the stars aligned for us to get
back down under and share them with everyone. It’s going to be something special.”

Fans can expect haunting and ethereal songs that masterfully delve into the depths of ferocious love, heartbreaking loss and steadfast hope, in a unique style of music the couple has dubbed “Cinematic Americana.”

Joining the tour as special guests will be acclaimed singer-songwriters Timothy James Bowen and Imogen Clark, performing on all shows. Timothy James Bowen is a singer-songwriter with an unforgettable voice who lays his soul bare with
every word. Known to audiences around the world for his tender, heartfelt songwriting and his extensive touring from all corners of regional Australia to Nashville, where he has made multiple appearances on the legendary Grand Ole Opry, as well as touring with sister Clare across the USA.

Imogen Clark is an AIR-nominated artist from Western Sydney, whose powerful songwriting has taken her all the way to Abbey Road, where her latest single ‘If I Want In’ was recorded. Legendary artists from Colin Hay to Jim Lauderdale have sought her out as a co-writer and she has toured with everyone from Shania Twain to The Tallest Man on Earth, as well as multiple tours as a special guest of Clare Bowen.
