Chanel Loren Announces Debut EP 'BETWEEN2WORLDS' with Sultry New Single 'Ring Ring'

Following a year of personal and artistic reflection, Chanel Loren emerges with her debut EP, 'BETWEEN2WORLDS', a captivating exploration of her identity as a Black Brit navigating life in Australia. This six-track project showcases Chanel's evolution as both a person and an artist, while cementing her place in the country's burgeoning R&B scene.

"'BETWEEN2WORLDS' is a deep dive into my creative psyche," Chanel shares. "With the daunting feeling of living in limbo between London and Sydney, I’ve had a hard time entirely assimilating and felt like I don’t entirely fit in anywhere."

This feeling of being an outsider has shaped Chanel's music, as heard on the genre-bending track 'Ring Ring'. A bold introduction to the EP, the single showcases Loren's rapping skills for the first time. The track blends hip-hop and R&B influences reminiscent of Little Simz, Sampa The Great, and Tierra Whack. Directed by Munasib Hamid, the accompanying music video captures Loren's confidence and charisma, solidifying her status as an artist to watch.

Chanel's talent has not gone unnoticed. Over the past year, she has received an ARIA nomination for Best Soul/R&B release, was named an Acclaim All Star, and has shared the stage with renowned artists like IDK, Sudan Archives, and Masego. She has also graced the stages of major festivals such as Souled Out, SXSW Sydney, and The Great Escape in the UK.

With 'BETWEEN2WORLDS', Chanel Loren delivers a bold and honest body of work that defies expectations and celebrates her unique journey. As one of Australia's most promising rising stars, Chanel's debut EP is sure to leave a lasting impression on the R&B landscape.
