Chanel Loren Unveils Soul-Soothing Single "Ebony" as Ode to Black Girl Magic

Sydney-based R&B artist Chanel Loren has gifted fans with 'Ebony', a tender new single that radiates self-love and empowerment. The track, a heartfelt conversation with her inner child, serves as a sonic embrace for black women everywhere. It follows her recent releases 'Zone' and the Kota The Friend-assisted 'Carelessly Doomed'.

"'Ebony' is the audio hug I needed," Chanel explains. "I wanted to make a song that was a conversation between me and my inner child, to check in and show wisdom, grace, and hope to myself. I named it 'Ebony' as a message to other black girls and women, letting them know that they are enough and that everything happens when it is supposed to."

This latest single serves as a precursor to her eagerly anticipated EP, 'BETWEEN2WORLDS', slated for release on 12th July. This project, a culmination of personal growth and artistic evolution, promises to be Chanel's most authentic work yet.

he past year was spent not only working on her craft, but also reflecting and realigning during a time in which writer's block and imposter syndrome challenged and pushed her. The product of that year created 'BETWEEN2WORLDS', an EP that finally reflects who she truly is as both a person and an artist, while celebrating her identity as a Black Brit in Australia and one of the rising artists in the country's emerging R&B scene.

With its soul-soothing melodies and empowering lyrics, 'Ebony' is poised to become an anthem for black women navigating their own journeys of self-discovery. This latest offering from Chanel Loren cements her position as a rising star in Australia's vibrant R&B landscape.
