Christian alt-rock project Thurane announce new single ‘Lead Me To The Cross’

A talented trio who are best known for their inspiring and anthemic alt-rock singles like ‘Redeemer’ and ‘Worthy’, Thurane have set the stage for their upcoming EP by announcing ‘Lead Me To The Cross’, a triumphant cover of the Brooke Ligertwood classic.

Backed byan impressive alt-rock sound that features Thurane on vocals and guitar, Andy Augustin on drums, and Brad Sirota on bass, ‘Lead Me To The Cross’ finds the trio at their most expressive and evocative, showcasing an evolution in the band’s songwriting that leans heavily on their faith and worship. Set for release on the 5th of March this year, the new single is arguably one of the most hotly anticipated Christian rock anthems of the year.

A distinctive release that you can pre-save and preview now, ‘Lead Me To The Cross’ perfectly reflects the spirit and power of the original, holding firm to the message while adding Thurane’s own creative twist. Delivering four minutes of melodic guitar riffs, tempered percussion, and rolling bass tones that blossom until an unassailable wall of sound, the song is an impressive testament to the the talents of all three artists.
