Dua Lipa's 'Illusion' is a dancefloor anthem from her new album 'Radical Optimism'

Global pop superstar Dua Lipa has dropped yet another addictive track in 'Illusion', a vibrant dancefloor anthem that joins the previously released 'Training Season' and 'Houdini'. Taken from her highly anticipated album 'Radical Optimism', set to debut on May 3rd, the song arrives alongside a vibrant, playful music video.

“‘Illusion’ was the first song Caroline, Danny, Tobias, Kevin and I worked on together, and it really broke the ice for the record,” Dua shares. “It’s about knowing what you’re getting yourself into, but staying for the hell of it. The joke’s on them, it’s the fun of playing someone at their own game because ultimately you won’t fall for an illusion.”

The accompanying music video, directed by Tanu Muino, captures this carefree spirit. It features Lipa at a pool party with dancers, high divers, and synchronized swimmers. Shot at the Piscina Municipal de Montjuïc in Barcelona, it pays homage to Kylie Minogue's iconic video for 'Slow'.

Dua Lipa isn't slowing down with the release of "Illusion." She recently announced a run of European tour dates, with some selling out within moments. The energy she brings to the stage is sure to translate perfectly to tracks from 'Radical Optimism.'

Inspired by Dua Lipa's personal journey of self-discovery, 'Radical Optimism' promises a pop experience defined by joy, resilience, and liberation. Rolling Stone praises it as "uniquely and utterly Dua Lipa: confident dance pop full of witty Instagram-caption-ready one-liners."
