Galantis Unveils Long-Awaited Album 'Rx,' A Journey of Self-Discovery and Emotional Catharsis

Internationally acclaimed dance music force Galantis has released their fourth studio album, 'Rx,' a raw and reflective exploration of mental health and self-discovery. The 14-track album, out now via Big Beat Records, features new single 'One Cry' featuring Rosa Linn alongside previously released hits like 'Lighter' with David Guetta and 5 Seconds of Summer.

Galantis, the genre-bending project of Christian Karlsson (aka Bloodshy), has amassed over 7.3 billion streams and 1.9 billion video views, solidifying their place as one of the most innovative acts of the decade. However, behind the scenes, Karlsson was battling a silent struggle with ADHD. After years of suffering, his diagnosis and subsequent treatment led to a journey of self-discovery that coincided with some of his most powerful music to date. Karlsson recently opened up about his experiences on ABC News' Nightline, reflecting on his 20+ year career and the future of Galantis.

'Rx' serves as Karlsson's most personal and vulnerable work yet. "Pharmacy was when I knew I was neurodivergent and I knew the studio was like a pharmacy for me," he says. "I was the patient. Rx is when I found medication. For me, it was key, but of course, everyone walks their own path."

The album, two years in the making, is a sonic rollercoaster of adrenaline and emotion. 'BANG BANG! (My Neurodivergent Anthem)' is a bold and uplifting anthem that addresses Karlsson's diagnosis head-on, while collaborations like the explosive 'Lighter' showcase Galantis' signature euphoric sound.

Galantis continues to be a dominant force in the live music scene, selling out venues worldwide and gracing major festivals like Bonnaroo and Lollapalooza. This year marks their third annual return to Brooklyn Mirage for Midsommar, further solidifying their reputation as one of dance music's most dynamic live performers.

With an illustrious career spanning punk-rock, hip-hop, and pop, Karlsson's work as one half of Bloodshy & Avant and one-third of Miike Snow has earned him accolades and recognition across genres. His production credits include Madonna, Kylie Minogue, Katy Perry, and Britney Spears, including the GRAMMY-winning 'Toxic.' As Galantis, Karlsson continues to push boundaries and evolve, solidifying his place as a true innovator in dance music and beyond.
