King Stingray drop soaring new single and video 'Through The Trees'

Australian rock favourites King Stingray have unveiled their newest anthem, 'Through the Trees', a soaring track that delves into the complexities of overcoming hardships. While the song might initially exude a carefree, adventurous energy, its true depths lie in the value of time and the resilience required to navigate life's challenges.

“On the surface it’s a fun traveling song representing adventure, but beneath the surface it talks more deeply on the concept of time and how precious it is,” the band says. “It’s about overcoming adversity, coming out the other side, and reaching that breath of fresh air.”

An accompanying music video, directed by Sam Brumby, offers breathtaking visuals of King Stingray's homeland in the remote Northern Territory's Arnhem Land region.

Fans had their first taste of 'Through the Trees' at the band's celebrated performance during Golden Plains festival, where the new single was met with enthusiastic acclaim.

King Stingray's sophomore album is currently in its final stages, a hotly anticipated follow-up to their 2022 self-titled debut. The band has teased its arrival on social media, building excitement for what's sure to be another collection of powerful, infectious tunes.

Later this year, King Stingray will embark on their most extensive US tour yet, sharing stages with fellow Aussie icons King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard as they traverse the West Coast and Southern states.
