Pale announces debut four-track EP with the release of new single 'Stuck'

After making his mark with debut single 'Made For You' in 2021, all eyes have been on Pale, the dream-pop and shoegaze project fronted by Christian Lessells. Gaining solid recognition and thousands of streams on release, 'Made For You' announced Pale as an innovative and wonderfully unique force in London's music scene, carving out a fresh path that takes leads from indie romantic films.

Titled 'Stuck', the new single is a welcome return from Christian, championing an evolved sound that fuses elements of dream-pop, shoegaze, indie rock and new wave into a bold and unforgettable mix. Recorded in Camden, London, with all writing and production done by Christian, 'Stuck' is laced with charming reverb and hushed vocals, creating a distant, ethereal feel that.

Speaking about the song, Christian shared, "'Stuck' is an homage to isolation and feeling dependent on a significant other. A break-up song for a break-up that just cannot seem to happen." Backed by emotive lyrics like, "Tears in your eyes could drown me, each drop a wave upon me", the new single is a refreshing and wonderfully effective new release from Pale, setting the stage perfectly for his upcoming EP.

Following the release of the new single, Pale will share his upcoming EP 'Always, Darling' in the Spring of 2024. The EP will feature four original cuts, including 'Stuck', and promises to be a groundbreaking moment for Pale, delivering a perfect encapsulation of the talented artists sound. For fans of Beach House, Cigarettes After Sex, and Bloc Party, the EP is definitely a release to be on the look out for.
