Art vs Science - ‘Check The Boombox’

Beloved Sydney electronic dance trio Art vs Science today unveil their brilliant new video ‘Check The Boombox’ which is lifted from their current album ‘Big Overdrive’. To coincide with the new video, the band are thrilled to announce they will be embarking on a ten-date tour throughout November and December.

The single 'Check The Boombox'' was recorded earlier this year at a friend’s house in Wilsons Creek in the Blue Mountains near Sydney. A full arsenal of old stereo equalisers, a terrible mixing desk, and dusty guitar amplifiers went into this track.

Over the years, Art vs Science have produced extremely memorable and creative videos, and today they have once again delivered a wacky masterpiece. The charmingly eccentric video was directed by Sam Kristofski (Tame Impala, Pond, Broods, San Cisco) and filmed in Los Angeles, California.

Of the video, the band explained, “Delighted to get Sam Kristofski to weave his weird wonderful magic for the Check The Boombox clip. Sam directed our action extravaganza clip for In This Together back in 2015, where he blew all the budget on helicopters, jet skis and mini helicopters. Stoked to let him blow the budget again, this time with journeying knights in the desert”.

You can stream the new video above, and make sure you head to the band's website where you can find all their tour dates and buy your tickets.
