The new music video from Chinese/American alt pop artist Emei, 'Scatterbrain' is the first single off of her sophomore EP, and it hit over 8 million streams in just a few months, making it her most viral single to date. Now, the music video is finally arriving, directed by Aser Santos Jr, founder of Juni Vis production company.
The energetic, transition-filled video allows 'Scatterbrain' to prosper in its manic nature, giving us an inside scoop into Emei’s scattered brain. Pulling from personality-filled, fast-paced Japanese film styles, Santos captures Emei’s natural performance ability on camera and her quirky ironic lyrics. The song features a mostly AAPI cast and crew.
