Mosaic Unveils 'Fairytale', A Pop-Punk Anthem for Imperfect Love

Bristol-based pop-punk trio Mosaic have released their latest single, 'Fairytale', accompanied by a captivating music video. The track follows a string of successful live performances, including supporting Toploader and Scouting For Girls at Good Times Yate.

'Fairytale' explores the complexities of a seemingly flawed relationship that, from an outsider's perspective, appears doomed to fail. Bassist Chris Brain explains the track's message, stating, "'Fairytale' takes a playful look at a seemingly dysfunctional relationship which, to an outsider, looks as though it's destined to fail. Although fraught with arguments and incompatibility, 'Fairytale' relays the message that it’s impossible to judge others' lives based on the small glimpses we see."

In the accompanying music video, Mosaic showcases their signature energetic performance style, with vibrant visuals and a narrative that complements the song's themes. The band's catchy hooks and resonant harmonies shine through, echoing influences from McFly, Weezer, and Blink 182.

The past 18 months have seen Mosaic's star rise with four well-received singles, sold-out headline shows (including a memorable night at Bristol's iconic Fleece), and a successful UK tour. Their infectious blend of pop-punk energy and relatable lyrics has garnered them a loyal following.

As 2024 progresses, Mosaic shows no signs of slowing down. With more new music on the horizon and an exciting lineup of shows in new cities, including a headline appearance at Bristol's Rough Trade, Mosaic is poised for even greater success.

For fans of catchy pop-punk with a heartfelt twist, Mosaic's 'Fairytale' is a must-listen. The band's ability to blend infectious melodies with introspective lyrics sets them apart in the contemporary music landscape. Keep an eye on this Bristol trio as they continue to make their mark on the UK music scene.
