After knocking us for six early this year with the release of their titanic single ‘Dream of Reason’, the ambient metal renegades of WILD OPERA are back with their scathing new cut and accompanying music video, ‘All The Light We Cannot See’.
A unique musical project built from singers, songwriters and ambient metal renegades from Spain and the UK, WILD OPERA has been carving out their own unique path through music, never relenting or backing down, and constantly doing things on their own terms. A studio-based group who writing songs for themselves, other artists, film and television, WILD OPERA have become synonymous with melodic, ambient metal, combining elements of classic shoegaze and caustic metal to create dark, captivating soundscapes that hit hard and leave a lasting impression.
After first making their mark with the release of lead single ‘All She Wants Is…’, they’ve been building a loyal fanbase and delivering time and time again, and their new single ‘All The Light We Cannot See’ is no exception.
Backed by a rather harrowing video which speaks to “the pointless annihilation of the most beautiful creatures on the planet, by its ugliest, whether for ‘sport’ or financial gain”, the new cut is uncompromising in its scale and activism, pulling no punches and pointing the finger squarely at us all. Featuring Steve Boyce on guitars, vocals, bass and programming, and Chris O´Brien on vocals, keyboards and programming, along with John Mulholland (GSA) who provided the voice of the sinister billionaire, this is a track you won’t want to miss.
A worthwhile experience for anyone open enough to listen, ‘All The Light We Cannot See’ is further proof of the band’s talents, as well as a massive statement of intent. Check it out above alongside the official video and make sure you help support them by following the social media pages below.
