Alpha Circle – 'Made In London'

By now, we’re no strangers to the brilliant blend of indie-pop that Alpha Circle produce, and so whenever we hear there’s a new track coming, it’s cause for celebration. After hits like ‘Soarin’ and ‘Circles’ catapulted them into the spotlight, the Madrid-based band are back once more, bringing more uplifting, alt-pop sounds with new anthem, ‘Made In London’.

After starting their journey in 2019 with the release of their standout debut single ‘Circles’, Alpha Circle have continued to impress fans and critics alike, pushing boundaries and earning accolades including Shout Radio’s ‘Best Song of 2022’ for their single ‘Phoenix and Butterflies’. In their latest cut, the band’s signature energy, grooves, and beats are all on show, but this time they’ve captured a far more wistful edge, shifting focus to the darker world of pop where lead vocalist, and London native, Lee Chamberlain can explore the melancholy side of living abroad.

Encircled by feelings of homesickness, Lee delves into an emotive refrain as all around him the song kicks into existence, channelling 90’s alt-pop sounds and driving instrumentals. It’s a gorgeous, evocative sound, and one that Alpha Circle do incredibly well.

You can stream ‘Made In London’ now on all major streaming services, and on our annual Spotify playlist, ‘Sounds of 2022’, where it’s streaming alongside a host of other impressive artists from the year so far.
