AM Dandy and the Elements – ‘Oracle’

The new year might still be taking shape, but we’ve already had our fair share of massive new albums. From Lana Del Rey to Arlo Parks, and Genesis Owusu to Julien Baker, we’ve heard some massive new and established talents making their mark, and now, LA’s own AM Dandy and the Elements are ready to make a cinematic mark of their own.

A unique and wonderfully innovative band with a penchant for dynamic rock-fusion, AM Dandy and the Elements’ latest instrumental offering comes in the form of ‘Oracle’, an immersive thirteen-track album that is filled with raw energy and sharp, underground sound.

Released today and our latest exclusive premiere, the album is a raucous blend of power, technique, raw improvisation and the multi-faceted sounds of rock and soul, all mixed together with some authentic Latin vibes for good measure. A self-styled sonic journey that explores the central figure of AM Dandy’s, it brings to light the values, vices, loves, and heroes that make up his unique existence.

After releasing their first album, ‘Secret Garden’, back in 2019, the band have been constantly expanding their sound, layering rich textures, a variety of influence, and focused compositions to create an authentic style that is impossible to deny. Now, with the release of ‘Oracle’, the band are continuing to follow the core concepts of ‘Secret Garden’, expanding their soundscapes with an emphasis on improvisation and raw, eclectic energy.

You can stream the full album below via Spotify and find out exactly why Buzz Music sang the band’s praises, saying “AM Dandy brings raw energy and an indefinitely loud testimony to the magic of the underground scene”.

Forming in Boston back in 2018, primary songwriter and guitar virtuoso, Alessandro Meynardi, aka AM Dandy met the other two main characters of the group, Euan Leslie (drums) and Jack Schwenke (bass) at the Berklee College of Music. Born as the AM Dandy Group, or just AM Dandy for short, they transformed into AM Dandy and the Elements in late 2019 and then dove right into recording their debut album. Today, they’re one of the most hotly anticipated new groups, and if ‘Oracle’ is anything to go by, they’ll soon be one of the biggest.
