Blood Red Rose – ‘Blinding Lights’

  • 1 min read

Last year, Somerset’s Blood Red Rose completed their dark trilogy, releasing their third studio album in just a few short years. It was a monumental achievement, one that saw the enigmatic and wonderfully nostalgic indie three-piece delivering time and time again, cementing their status as one of the most impressive and prolific independent bands around. Now, they’re back with their latest single, taking on 2022 with the same energy and indie brilliance that made them such a big name in the previous years.

Titled ‘Blinding Lights’, the new single is another bold movement from the band, pushing their sound into new territories and hitting with a sense of exploration and vitality. Along with the new track, the band have also been hard at work releasing a string of other projects, including a very special cover of Sam Fender’s ‘Seventeen Going Under’, and their own line of exclusive NFTs.

You can stream the track below, and don’t forget to check out our official review of their last album which was published in the closing months of last year.

The start of a new era for the band, ‘Blinding Lights’ stands as one of the band’s most expressive and adventurous new releases, and it works so well to capture the expansive sound that Blood Red Rose has been refining over the past few years.
