LEISURE and Two Another Ask 'Oh Why' in Soulful New Collaboration

Auckland-based soul-electronic collective LEISURE has returned with a captivating new single, 'Oh Why', featuring Australian indie duo Two Another. The track, released a year after their acclaimed album 'Leisurevision', delves into the complexities of early relationships and the universal longing for love and authenticity.

LEISURE describes the song as capturing "the indecision of an early part of a relationship, wondering 'should I stay or should I go,'" with a pitched-down refrain of "give me life, everlasting love" representing an inner yearning for something real.

The collaboration came about organically, with both groups being fans of each other's music since their early Soundcloud days. Two Another's bassist Jarrol Renaud and keyboardist Danny Pliner initiated the project, having created a laid-back, soulful instrumental track that needed the perfect vocal complement. LEISURE, noticing a crossover in their respective fanbases, eagerly embraced the opportunity to work together.

The result is a vibey, soulful single that seamlessly blends LEISURE's signature electronic sound with Two Another's indie sensibilities. The song's creation was a truly global effort, with sessions taking place in Australia, New Zealand, and Europe.

Following their successful European tour, which included a sold-out show at London's Electric Brixton, LEISURE is set to make their mark on the US this summer. They will perform on the main stage at Lollapalooza and Outside Lands Festivals, as well as headline shows in New York City, Madison, and Los Angeles. Tickets for these upcoming performances are available now.

'Oh Why' is a testament to the power of connection and the universal search for love and authenticity. With its infectious groove and soulful vocals, the track is sure to resonate with listeners around the world.
