Rob Murat – ‘Here We Are Again’

  • 1 min read

An Ivy League graduate and talented actor, Rob Murat is already well known for his work on film. With videos and short films reaching over thirty million homes worldwide through mainstream TV and online outlets, Rob’s credits include appearances in feature films, TV series, and commercial ad campaigns.

Musically, it’ been over a decade since Rob’s debut album was released, with his acting taking centre stage and only the occasional single coming to light. Something of comeback in that respect, ‘Here We Are Again’ brings his funk-infused sound back to life, bringing with it the same wonderful edge that made his debut album so enjoyable.

A modern ballad, the new track is a definite flashback to his debut. It’s a powerful glimpse of things to come, hinting at the release of a new album in between the second season of his show ‘On My Block’ on Netflix.

Speaking to Soul Tracks, Rob gave some more insight into the new track, "Here we are again... I really hope the world enjoys the experience of listening to this one as much as I enjoyed the experience of creating it! Let this one sit with you during the remaining summer nights. Then take that warm vibe with you into the fall and winter. Long live feel good music!”
