Nature TV - ‘Tell Me Something Good’

Door-to-door heartbreak salesmen Nature TV have recently released their new single ‘Tell Me Something Good’, and it's an absolute indie-pop banger.

The talented contemporary shoegaze quartet from Brighton, UK, are made up of Guy Bangham, James Hunt, Josh Eriskin, and Zal Jones, and they've been busily layering down a unique foundation for their sound. For the new single, the track was mostly self-recorded in their home studio, other than the drums (recorded at RUBIX London).

Mixed by Solo Major and mastered by Ed Woods, ‘Tell Me Something Good’ draws influence from Real Estate, Peach Pit and Beach Fossils. Unlike their American counterparts, Nature TV have carved their own distinctly British sound with vibrant vocals, dreamy chord patterns and an intricate rhythm section.

The band explained, “'Tell Me Something Good' is about the desire for positive reinforcement in relationships. It’s exploring how one-sided relationships can be; how you can always be trying to have the other person’s back, even if they don’t have yours. It’s about trying to support your friend/partner/lover when they might just be throwing it back in your face and you know you shouldn’t continue trying, but that’s hard to accept.”

Nature TV have previously had support from BBC Radio One and official Spotify playlisting. They have opened for VANT, Swimming Tapes and Trudy & The Romance, as well as performing at The Great Escape festival. Nature TV have recorded three more songs to be released as part of an EP in 2022.
