PREBS – ‘Touch The Roof’

A Norwegian singer and rapper making his mark on the world stage, PREBS has been building his repertoire for years now, capitalising on a hard-earned sound that artfully combines catch hooks, relatable lyrics, and bold, untameable energy. After making his triumphant debut in 2019 with the release of ‘Drowning’, PREBS has continued to impress fans and critics alike, but now, with the release of his single, ‘Touch The Roof’, he’s taken things to a whole new level.

A brilliant pop-trap anthem cut from the same cloth as Juice Wrld and Post Malone, ‘Touch The Roof’ focuses on the universal and heartbreaking theme of realising a relationship has come to its end. Speaking openly about the track, PREBS explained his inspiration for the track, reflecting on the harrowing evolution where “a relationship develops into a stage where you are not happy, which leads to the conclusion of leaving.”

Delivered with an infinitely catchy hook and plenty of fast, expressive lines, there’s a lot to love about the new anthem, and PREBS does a wonderful job at reflecting the hurt and heartbreak in both the beats and his lyrics. Available now on most major platforms, and as part of our annual Spotify playlist, ‘Touch The Roof’ is the sort of pop-trap epic that hits hard and then keeps on hitting.

A brilliant track that perfectly blends sharp emotive sounds with textured refrains, ‘Touch The Roof’ is an undeniable introduction to PREBS. Check it out below via Spotify.

Currently studying at NTNU, the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, while doing music on the side, PREBS is continuing his mission for chart dominance, crafting a legacy that will ultimately shine in years to come. Highly motivated and wonderfully talented, he’s an artist you can’t afford to miss.
