Wez King - 'Take It Or Leave It’

An accomplished singer/songwriter hailing from Maidstone in Kent, Wez King has followed on from his earlier single releases of ‘M.H.’ in May and‘We Were Young’ in July with his latest offering, the high octane, sing-along anthem of ‘Take It Or Leave It’.

One of those tracks that starts off as it means to go on, ‘Take It Or Leave It’ is full throttle right from the get go telling tales of drunken nights out at various drinking establishments and the 'Living for the weekend' mentality. With its strumming guitars and fast paced back beat drumming it’s an earworm of a song that’ll have you tapping your toes and singing along at the top of your lungs. It’s a song  that will resonate with every drinker who's ever played the fool.

Lyrically, the tune depicts the pitfalls of the party lifestyle, as he explained, “This track is all about the idea of being stuck in that vicious circle going off the rails every weekend and taking the party a little too far. Realising while that’s your first priority you might find you lose the important things and people around you in the process.”

‘Take It Or Leave It’ was written by Wez King and features him on Guitar  and Vocalswith Tim Jarzebek on drums and Sabid Dhinsa on Bass. The track was recorded at The Libertines HQ in Margate, The Albion Rooms, and was recorded and mixed by Jason Stafford and mastered by Graham Waller.

Wez is no stranger to the music scene having previously been in a successful band,Tres Kings, before deciding to branch out as a solo artist. He has been  featured onKMTV,and played atNeverworld andBearded Theory Festivals having been billed alongside artists such as Doves, Tom Grennan and The Vaccines.
