bella amor - 'sentimental'

Gold Coast singer bella amor returns with her charming new single and video, 'sentimental'.

‘sentimental’ is another testament of bella’s charm. Produced by Nova Blue and featuring backing vocals from Forest Claudette, ‘sentimental’ glows with body-moving rhythms and bella’s heavenly vocals. An innate performer, the accompanying music video puts bella’s carefree attitude to the forefront and features Bryn Chapman Parish aka Heartbreak High’s Spider as bella’s past love interest.

bella on the single said, “’sentimental' is about having fun with a past lover, but only on one level in particular. Basically, it's a funky way of telling that person you just want to sleep with them. It's my first song of 2023 and we are starting the year off with a slay. I made this with Nova Blue and Forest Claudette which was one of the funnest sessions I've had. In the video, Bryn Chapman Parish, who plays Spider in Heartbreak High, is playing the boy we're not getting too sentimental about. The whole vibe of both the song and video is kicking the past lover out when things get too serious or they get too involved. We're letting them know this is how us baddies are gonna do it this year.”

‘sentimental’ arrives after a mammoth debut year for bella amor. In August 2022, she burst onto the scene with ‘can’t get laid’ which saw her launch into the hearts of pop music enthusiasts nationwide before soon following it up with ‘all my friends are high’ and ‘heart attack’.

Collectively, this trio of singles have collected 1 million global streams in less than a year. Coming up during March and April, bella fans can catch her supporting Lime Cordiale on their Sydney and Wollongong headline shows, as well as Young Henry’s Best Served Loud series on the Gold Coast, Bondi’s The Royal and The Long Sunset in Queensland alongside Lime Cordiale, Winston Surfshirt, Sycco and more.
