The Lost Messiahs - 'Radiance of Moon'

Alternative-indie band The Lost Messiahs have released their new single 'Radiance of Moon', the fourth single from their upcoming third studio album.

Backed by shimmering guitars and steadfast vocals create an ethereal soundscape, a signature sound of the band. The wistful and heartfelt lyrics tell a love story. Songwriter Ollie says the song “expresses the joy and feeling of gratitude to have met one’s soulmate, and the sense of wonder and magic that each new day reveals.” The video is similarly haunting, featuring radiant vignettes in cinematic slow-motion. The scenes glow with incandescent colors sure to captivate viewers.

The Lost Messiahs hail from Portlaoise in the midlands of Ireland. The band was formed by songwriter and guitar player Ollie Plunkett. There is a spiritual connection in The Lost Messiahs music, from collaborations with monks to exploring the inner workings of the mind and the search for meaning. Rich production, meticulous songwriting, and immersive instrumentation give their music textured, atmospheric landscapes. They have been compared to the likes of The National, War on Drugs, and Mercury Rev.

'Radiance of Moon' is the fourth single to be taken from their third studio album ' Connected to the Real'. The song was recorded at Golden Egg Studios, Portlaoise, Co. Laois and produced by Ollie Plunkett. Additional production by Owen Geaney Golden Egg Studios.

Along with critical press acclaim and nation-wide radio play, the band has played at festivals and venues all over Ireland. The band have released two critically acclaimed studio albums and several singles. They are set to play Forest Fest and Electric Picnic this summer, as well as other dates to be announced.
