Grayscale Enlists Ben Stewart for 'Kept Me Alive' Ahead of Aussie Adventure

Philadelphia's own Grayscale have unveiled a special collaboration, enlisting Slowly Slowly's Ben Stewart for a guest vocal spot on their track 'Kept Me Alive'. This fresh version of the song arrives just as the band embark on their inaugural Australian tour, hitting the road alongside Slowly Slowly and Honey Revenge, with their first show kicking off in Perth.

The timing couldn't be better, as Grayscale are riding high on the success of their recently released album, 'The Hart', which dropped in late January. The record has resonated strongly with their dedicated fanbase, earning praise from outlets like State of the Scene, who declared it "the best they’ve ever done," a significant achievement considering its independent release.

Ben Stewart, of Slowly Slowly, expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating, "We are all huge fans of Grayscale at Slowly HQ. When they hit me up with the concept of a feature, I was immediately drawn to 'Kept Me Alive'. It’s a timeless sentiment that has plenty of parallels to our new record. Everything came together really easy and the song rips. We're excited to see their Australian fans light up as we tear across the country together."

Following their Australian stint, Grayscale are set to join Mayday Parade on their 'Three Cheers for 20 Years' US tour, commencing in late April. This relentless touring schedule underscores the band's commitment to connecting with their audience.

Formed in 2016, Grayscale's journey has been marked by a strong sense of camaraderie and a shared passion for music. Hailing from Philadelphia, they've built a reputation for their energetic live performances and relatable songwriting. Their extensive touring history includes sharing stages with prominent acts such as The Band CAMINO, The Maine, Gym Class Heroes, All Time Low, and Smallpools.

Their music, a blend of diverse influences, reflects a dedication to authenticity and emotional depth. Grayscale's songwriting delves into personal experiences, exploring themes of introspection and growth, creating a lasting bond with their listeners. Their approach to music is about building genuine connections through relatable narratives and a sound that feels both honest and compelling.
