Bud Rokesky Fuels The Fire With New Singles 'Oil Onto The Fire' & 'Mary Valley'

Prolific Australian alt-country artist Bud Rokesky continues his impressive streak, unveiling his latest A-side 'Oil Onto The Fire' and accompanying B-side 'Mary Valley'. This marks the sixth instalment in his series of monthly double-single releases, further showcasing Rokesky's diverse musical influences.

"At the heart of 'Oil Onto The Fire' is the story of young love and what the world can do to it over time," Bud shares. "It takes a lot of work not to end the way many once beautiful love stories have."

The new singles follow closely on the heels of a successful regional tour supporting Brad Cox, which concludes on Sunday, June 16th. Fans eager to catch Rokesky live can look forward to his upcoming headline tour along Australia's east coast this July, with stops in Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne. Tickets are available now. The artist will also be performing at the Gympie Music Muster in August and Nimbin Roots Festival in October.

Rokesky's 2023 debut album, 'Outsider', produced by Matt Corby and Alex Henriksson, garnered widespread acclaim, featuring standout tracks like 'Strike Out', 'Baby & I', and 'Love My Baby More'. The album received strong support from major outlets like CMT, ABC Country, and Australian Country Radio, solidifying Rokesky's position as an emerging force in the alt-country scene.
