Dasha's 'Didn't I' Is A Pop-Country Anthem for Backsliders Everywhere

Hot on the heels of her chart-topping hit 'Austin (Boots Stop Workin')', pop country starlet Dasha has released a brand new single, 'Didn't I', a nostalgic, tongue-in-cheek tune about falling back into old habits. Available today via Warner Records, the track is an infectious earworm with all the makings of another chart-topping smash.

Speaking about the inspiration behind the song, Dasha says, "'Didn't I' is so nostalgic. There's something about my past that intrigues me, including the men. In the writer's room, I was referring to a time when I was backsliding into the guy that 'Austin' is about. It's admitting like, 'oops here I am again, my bad' but I love how we made it light-hearted and fun."

With handclaps, fiddle accents, and a bright banjo riff driving the momentum, 'Didn't I' showcases Dasha's dynamic vocals, clever songwriting, and undeniable star power. The chorus is particularly catchy, with Dasha confessing, "So why am I here with your lips on mine? I could've sworn I said, 'This is over. Didn't I?"

The song's release comes as Dasha is riding high on the success of 'Austin (Boots Stop Workin')', which peaked at number 3 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart and number 19 on the Billboard Hot 100. Her album, 'What Happens Now?', also reached number 117 on the Billboard 200, and she recently scaled the Billboard Emerging Artists Chart to number 2.

Further solidifying her rising star status, Dasha recently made her debut at the iconic Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, TN, performing 'Austin' and other fan favourites from 'What Happens Now?'.

If you're looking for a feel-good, relatable anthem to soundtrack your summer, look no further than 'Didn't I'. And if you're lucky enough to have tickets to one of Dasha's sold-out Dashville, U.S.A. shows, get ready for an unforgettable night of pop-country magic. The tour still has limited ticket availability in Stockholm, Amsterdam, and Salt Lake City.
